What is organizational awareness?
Organizations don't just have leadership problems, they often also have awareness problems.
For many reasons (urgency, overload, etc.) leaders frequently don't see the downstream effects of their decisions, the informal dynamics shaping behavior, or the disconnect between their intentions and their employees' lived experiences.
Organizational awareness is about understanding the organizational factors (workplace politics, market conditions, leader behavior, power, and culture, among other things) impact employee behavior and organizational performance.

About this Workshop
Rather than simply adding new leadership skills, participants develop the awareness needed to see the system, understand its impact, and identify where change is needed.
This Organizational Awareness workshop will explore the 4 dimensions of organizational awareness:
-
Culture Awareness
-
People Awareness
-
Power Awareness
-
Systems Awareness

Understanding these 4 dimensions are critical for building leadership awareness, which will help them to:
-
Make better business decisions
-
Build trust, better rapport and better relationships with employees
-
Design work in more efficient ways
-
Learn to balance human centered leadership with designing strategy and business outcomes

What Makes this Workshop Different?
This workshop goes beyond traditional leadership training to examine the hidden systems, norms, power dynamics, and behaviors that shape how work actually gets done.
Leaders learn to recognize the gap between what an organization says it values and what it actually rewards and how those contradictions can contribute to disengagement, conflict, silence, and costly workplace dysfunction.
Why This Matters
Instead of asking:
"How do I motivate my team?" or "How do I "make" my employees do what I need them to?"
Modern leaders ask:
-
What conditions have I created?
-
What behaviors am I rewarding?
-
What behaviors am I unintentionally discouraging?
-
What experiences are employees having that I may not see?
-
What signals am I sending through my actions and decisions?
These are the questions that lead to better, and lasting results for your organization.
